September is a month full of changes for everyone, especially Sweet Earth Gifts*Jewelry*Engraving*Beads. You may remember the
name change competition a few months ago when Ben Franklin changed to Sweet Earth, which may sound familiar to long time residents. The Para’s opened Sweet Earth Jewelry Company and Flower Market in Downtown Sycamore in 1993. In 1995 they moved down the street to take over the Ben Franklin store and combined their love of jewelry to the popular shop. The Para’s have been dedicated members of the Sycamore Community since coming here from Wheaton in 1993. It was no surprise that when it came time for a name change they turned to the community for help.
Since the name was changed Rich and Roseann Para have been working tirelessly to make the change.
The evolution from Ben Franklin to Sweet Earth is apparent now more than ever! The Para’s have given their store a facelift both inside and out.
The store front is new from the colorful logo above the awning all the way down to the large eco-friendly windows.
Once through the door, guests eyes are drawn to the
new hardwood floors and flowing set up. The Autumn
displays welcome the season as we transition from
Summer to fall.
With the transformation complete the Para’s are excited to welcome the community to their grand re-opening celebration this weekend! Starting Friday at 11:30 with a ribbon cutting. The events unravel throughout the weekend including a visit from Halia Jewelry company rep Millie as well as their first Bead Trunk Show! Check out the Flyer for Sweet Earth’s Grand Re Opening!
