Sycamore Pumpkin 10K Run & 1 Mile Family Fun Run

The 46th Annual Sycamore Pumpkin 10K Road Race will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2024!
JOIN US THIS YEAR FOR OUR SECOND ANNUAL SYCAMORE PUMPKIN 1 MILE FUN RUN! All ages welcome and registered runners/walkers will receive an exclusive Fun Run shirt and bib. This Fun Run will start on Route 64 near the Armory and head East to the Sycamore Park entrance. It will meander through the park and end at the same finish line as the Sycamore Pumpkin Run 10K Run!
Our 10K is USATF- sanctioned and certified road race, we draw over 1,600 runners from all over Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, and beyond. Starting gun goes off at 8:30 a.m. sharp! New Start Time This Year!
These runs are held during Sycamore Illinois’ famous Pumpkin Festival and has become a staple in the Northern Illinois race circuit. The 10k Pumpkin Run was named a Best of Chicagoland Race by Chicago Area Runners Association. The race is also sanctioned by USA Track and Field and the course is USATF certified. Proceeds from the Sycamore Pumpkin Run help maintain our historic downtown, create opportunities to help small businesses succeed and develop area tourism through community events.
