Moonlight Magic
Friday, November 22, 6:00PM – 8:00PM
Watch storefront windows “come alive” as local arts, theater and dance groups perform from 6 to 8pm. Arts and entertainment groups from all over the county will be participating. All will be creating holiday magic with artisans, performers, dancers and musicians.
The downtown Sycamore shops are once again gearing up for this year’s shopping marathon, Moonlight Magic. Stores will be open late for Moonlight Sales and Holiday Magic on Friday, November 22nd from 6pm – 8pm. The sales will display the best deals of the season! Stroll and shop in our historic downtown for a one of a kind magical, holiday shopping experience. Our official kick off of the holiday season in downtown Sycamore. Get a head start on holiday shopping. Support our local business and help boost our economy while having fun with friends and family.

Walk With Santa
Friday, December 6 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Bundle up and bring the entire family downtown Sycamore on Friday, December 6!! Join us as we welcome Santa to Sycamore.
At 4:50p.m. a double feature of the 1966 version of How the Grinch Stole Christmas and A Charlie Brown Christmas at the Sycamore Theater!!
At 6p.m. the Sycamore Fire Department will escort Santa and Ms. Claus to the Sycamore Theater. We will then parade Santa and Mrs. Claus through downtown Sycamore to the courthouse lawn where with your help, Santa will light the holiday trees.
Santa will be anxious to make his way to his Santa House where children can present him with their wish list.
Santa House Visit
Saturdays and Sundays in December through December 22, 11 am – 2 pm
Visit Santa and Mrs. Claus at their charming house on the courthouse lawn at the corner of Maple and State Street in downtown Sycamore throughout December. Don’t forget to drop your letter to Santa in his mailbox outside his house. It’s a heartwarming experience for the entire family.
Sycamore Winter Chocolate Walk

Bring your sweet heart or just your sweet tooth to Sycamore’s Winter Chocolate Walk on Thursday, December 12, from 4-8pm.
Enjoy decadent chocolate shopping stops and a chance to win one of our chocolate gift baskets filled with chocolate samplings and an array of gift certificates from our participating businesses and other fabulous prizes!
Shopping and chocolate….what more do we need! As you shop great deals for your Holiday gift buying, you will indulge in a vast array of fine chocolate desserts. Be sure to make as many stops as possible! Shopping doesn’t get much sweeter than this!
Day of Tickets will be available at Blumen Gardens for $15 starting at 4pm! Our delightful evening will start at Blumen Gardens, 403 Edward Street in Sycamore. There you will pick up your chocolate walk entry card, your souvenir hot cocoa mug, and be delighted with your first Chocolate treat courtesy of Blumen Gardens.
Shop till you drop and simply leave your entry card with your name and phone number into the chocolate bag at your final location. Four winners will be drawn from the names of those entered to win one of our wonderful prizes.
